Acupuncture first intake + treatment

Service Description

★ I highly recommend arriving to your first treatment, well hydrated (preferably with warm water). Dressed in comfortable, loose fitting clothes (that can easily be adjusted to allow access to any points we may need). Please eat a small, warm meal beforehand (hunger and intoxication inhibit effective treatment. ★ Initial intakes are generally 90 minutes, the first 45 minutes to hour will be spent discussing your health goals and medical history. I will ask many personal questions like: your diet preferences, appetite and bowel regularity, overall emotional state, energy and sleep quality, and many more. Through your answers to these questions we will identify the root of your current TCM pattern and develop a treatment plan. ★ After our discussion you will have your first acupuncture treatment. Treatments are generally quite comfortable and often elicit a feeling of relaxation. I find it ideal to receive treatments on days where you will have time to rest afterwards.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the time of each session, all patients are asked to honor our 24 hour cancellation policy. Full treatment fee will be due in the case of missed appointments. Thank you for your understanding.
